Prof. Soon-Joo Wang is a Professor at the Department of Emergency Medicine, Hallym University and Founding Chief of the International Research Center of Crowd Crush (IRCCC). He has a diverse clinical and theoretical background, including Prehospital emergency medicine, Medical aspect of terrorism & CBRNE, Emergency medical informatics & Mobile Smart-Health, Mass gathering and event medicine, Injury control and Health Safety, International Emergency & Disaster Medicine, Humanitarian Medicine & International Medical Assistance, New Technologies in Emergency Health Care. He has served as the president of academic societies related to Geriatric Emergency Medicine, Disaster Medicine, and Burn in Korea, and is the vice president of Societal Security, Hazard Mitigation, and Hazard Safety. He is one of the living histories of emergency and disaster medicine in Korea and serves as a gateway to the world.
