Michael Stark is an Obstetrician and Gynecologist. He modified operations like the vaginal and abdominal hysterectomy and the evidence-based Cesarean Section and developed the concept of single-entry natural orifice surgery. He initiated and conducted surgical workshops in several countries such as Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan, Vietnam, Laos, Armenia, Hungary, Ukraine, Russia, China, India, Senegal, Kenya, Burkina Faso, Croatia Serbia, Bosnia Herzegovina and Albania.In the years 1982 and 2000, he was the medical director and head of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Misgav Ladach hospital in Jerusalem. Between 2001-2010 he was the chairman of the gynecological departments of the HELIOS hospital group in Germany and Austria. In the years 2011-2013, he was the scientific advisor of the USP hospital in Mallorca, Spain. Between 2012-2015 he was the scientific director of the new European surgical robotic system [TELELAP] in Milan, Italy.
